First, unless otherwise mentioned, they are Epson Stylus color prints. If you haven't seen any Epson Stylus prints, feel free to go to a computer store and check out the quality. I couldn't approach it with any other media; certainly not at this price.
You should be aware, though, that if the ink gets wet, it will smear slightly. Also, like any other piece of art, it should never be hung in direct sunlight.
Other than that, they should last well beyond the point where you are tired of them, and want something else on your walls.
If your print is damaged in shipping, or if you don't get it within two weeks of placing your order, please let me know. I will replace damaged merchandise (just send the poor thing back) and if there is some reason that I can't ship your order right away I always call. But I seem to have very bad luck with the mail, and things go astray. I can't ship you another if I don't know you never got the first one.
The colors you see on your monitor are not likely to match the colors in the print. Monitors and prints and things are like that. If you get a print, and can't stand the colors, I will take it back. The prints are also much more detailed than these little things. I made them small to download quickly, and naturally you lose quality doing that. I'm sure you understand.
The limited edition prints are just that; once the edition is sold out, they will never be available in that format again; and if I make another edition, it will either also be limited, and more expensive, or it will have a smaller image area.
The open edition prints are not limited per se; but I will still not offer them forever. I plan to have a new print out every couple of weeks (for each major convention, anyway.) As new prints are introduced, old ones will be retired, normally in chronological order. (The exception is an old print that is still selling really, really well.) Once a print is retired, you can try to convince me to reprint a special one just for you, but I make no promises. ; )
All of this art is copyrighted. Please don't use it without permission. That means don't grab it from the web, put it on a disk and tell your friends it's "copyright free." It also means don't buy a print, scan it into the computer, and post it on your website. Don't copy any of this stuff, in any form.
If you want to share my pictures by putting them on your site, please write to me and ask for permission. I normally give it, and I don't charge anything. I just don't want to lose the copyright! See, I make my living by creating these pictures. If I can't make my living this way, I'll have to do something else, and then there won't be any more pictures.
(And that's not just me, by the way. Remember, someone had to make everything you see on the web. Assume they don't want to give the rights away, and don't take anything without permission, please. This continued theft is very discouraging. And if we get too discouraged there won't be any new art at all.)
Because of limitations across browsers and platforms, trademark symbols don't show up reliably, and I have chosen not to use them. Adobe Photoshop, Corel Bryce, MetaCreations Ray Dream Designer and Studio, MetaCreations Infin-D, Curious Labs Poser, Strata StudioPro, Prismacolor Pencils, Canson MiTentes Paper, TSR Dragon Magazine, Black Dragon Press Dragon Storm, Wizards of the Coast Legend of the Five Rings, Donning Publishers, Llewellyn Worldwide and Apple Macintosh are all trademarked to their various companies.
