A computer piece done with Zygote's Doe (from the Stuff for Poser 3 Sampler Disk), Onyx Tree Pro and Metacreation's Bryce 4 with a tiny bit of retouching in Adobe Photoshop (I put hair on the unicorn's mane and tail.)
This is the first Unicorn I've done in many, many years. For a long time, I felt that they had been overused. But I've always liked them, and felt for a number of reasons that it was time to do another. So here it is!
This is the first piece I've done since I got the upgrade to Bryce, and in case you were wondering if it's worth it, I think it is, it is! Not only is the Skylab really usable this time, but there are a whole bunch of ways to generate fractals for terrains. And, for the first time, you can export the things you have created, complete with all of the mapping so that they are perfect in any program! Now if only everyone else let you export perfectly placed maps along with DXF files, too! (Not to mention the fact that now you can generate a texture, tweak it in Photoshop, and put it back on the terrain. <g>)
The print has an image area 6.25x9.25 inches and comes matted on a piece of foam-core board. Open edition, signed by the artist. $25 + shipping and handling.
