This is a computer print from May of 1999.

It may look like it's just a still life; but there is a story behind it! If you look closely on the poster, you will see that it's the first few hypothesis from my famous Theory of Cat Gravity, which is my Pet Theory. Part of the Theory explains how the gravity leaks out of the bed and lands underneath it (this, of course, is after the cats have transformed the solar rays into gravity - with any luck I'll have the whole theory available in booklet form soon!)

The person who is making the tiny world in a bottle has utilized this part of the theory, underlined in purple crayon, to amplify the gravity beneath the bed, thereby obtaining enough gravity to make normal household dust coalesce into a bitsy planet. (Of course, the "seed" was a chip from the concrete basement floor - you have to know the Theory! <g>) It's all explained on the notes underneath the bottle. Too bad the stuff on top of them is covering it all up!

All in all, a fun piece about silly theories carried to illogical extremes.

This picture was made in Strata StudioPro 2.5, with image maps and textures constructed in Adobe Photoshop 5. I also retouched it just a tad in Photoshop (about 10 minutes worth!)
